"Western Landscape" 1946, Lithograph. Edition: Not stated, but probably less than 50. Signed and dated in pencil, Fred Yost '46, lower right; titled, Western Landscape, lower left. Image: 9 1/2 x 13 7/16 inches (241 x 341 mm). Sheet: 12 1/16 x 16 inches (306 x 406 mm). Excellent condition. Good margins. Printed on parchment style cream wove paper. Some pencil notations show erasure on the reverse. They in no way affect the image. Typical to this image is Frederick Yost's penchant for printing very black images leaving as little white paper as possible. The location is assumed to be either a New Mexico or Colorado landscape. $450.00 |
