Signed in pencil, Don Freeman, lower right, also signed in the stone, lower left; numbered, 1/25, and titled, Break for Lunch, Hollywood, lower left. Image: 9 1/8 x 13 inches (232 x 329 mm). Sheet: 12 1/4 x 17 inches (311 x 432 mm). Reference: McCulloch 1988:105 #134. Excellent condition. Good margins. A few minor handling marks in the margins and away from image. Appears to have never been framed. A Lynton Kistler blindstamp near the lower left corner of the impression. Quote from Don Freeman on this print, "Where films are farmed - in the canyons of Hollywood. Strolling outside the big barns, the actors are let loose in the pasture for star gazing." $850.00 |
