Edition: Not stated, but probably less than 50. Signed pencil, lower right "Eva Dean"; titled, at top of sheet on reverse.

Image: 3 15/16 x 2 15/16 inches (100 x 75 mm). Sheet: 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches (146 x 95 mm).

Excellent condition. Adequate margins. Printed on buff wove paper. In the late 1920s and 1930s, Dean spent time in Arizona exploring Tucson and the surrounding desert region. Among some of her best work were watercolors done of the old Tucson barrio district, circa 1930. A majority of the barrio was destroyed in the late 1960s to make way for a new convention area. Her illustrations remain.

Edition: Unique. Signed and dated, lower left front, and dated again on reverse "Oct. 29". Titled on reverse.

Dimensions of paper: 13 x 18 1/8 inches (329 x 460 mm). Not framed.

Excellent condition. Painted full sheet on heavy watercolor paper. Framers pencil notations on back of paper, along with the artists title and date.
