Sheet: 15 1/4 x 19 7/8 inches (387 x 504 mm). Reference: Hopkins et al. 1970:11, 41. Excellent condition. Good full margins. A fine fresh print on white wove paper. An extremely rare print of Jerome, Arizona, and a few of the locals, by the "Dean of Arizona Artists," Lew Davis. Probably one of Davis' last lithographic images in the "Jerome Series." He commented in Hopkins (1970:11) that by 1940 he was living in Scottsdale and was at the end of this important series. An extremely rare image. SOLD |
