Excellent condition. Good margins. Printed on cream wove paper. Appears to have never been framed. On verso, upper left corner, are the following pencil notations: G. 1718 Hounds and Coyote. Erased is: $10.00. In rubber stamp, the following: Reproduction rights to this painting especially reserved by the artist John Stewart Curry

Thomas Craven commented on the print (1939):

Curry himself considers Hounds and Coyote one of his best lithographs. The three animals are vessels of the most violent action, and there is real untrammeled ferocity in this Kansas night scene.
